We are currently offering chiropractic care for horses! Whether you have a newborn foal, a performance horse or a senior, all horses can benefit from chiropractic care. We do not offer chiropractic adjustments for livestock (yet!).
The nervous system (brain, spinal cord, and nerves) controls the entire body. Chiropractic helps align the spine so that the nervous system can function to its fullest potential. When the nervous system if functioning properly, the body is better able to heal itself. Chiropractic adjustment can improve mobility, reduce pain/improve overall comfort, boost the immune system, reduce stress, improves proprioception (knowing where their feet are), and more.
Dr. Laura Heine completed her schooling at the Animal Chiropractic Education Source (ACES) in Meridian, TX where she obtained over 200 hours of hands-on training.
As a veterinarian, chiropractic care is one of many modalities used to help keep your horse in the best condition possible. If your horse needs more than a chiropractic adjustment, we can still help! We can perform lameness exams, take x-rays, perform dentals, give joint injections, prescribe medications, and more.
